Acrobat 8 asks to register over and over – How do you stop it?

I take one installation of Adobe Acrobat Pro 8.1.6 that is misbehaving. It asks to register (proper name, address, etc) every single fourth dimension y'all run the plan. It doesn't thing if you lot enter the info, click "Don't Remind Me", or "Register Later on" – the dialog box just pops support every time.
